A Drive

We went for a little drive today.

We took the Apache Trail

Very Nice

Gave the camera to Peg and I think she likes it as she took 133 pictures.

These are just a few.

We were going to have lunch

at Tortilla Flats but there were

dozens lined up waiting so we

just kept going.

Apparently this guy tried the old dine and dash,but got caught.

Not long after Tortilla Flats the paved road ended.

Then it was all this gravel road for 37 miles/60km

It appears that we spend more time driving on roads the jeep would prefer.

When we had the jeep we drove on roads that the top less car would prefer.

We did finally reach the Roosevelt Dam.

After that it was back on the pavement and clear sailing all the way home.

Stopped at Fishers for a cold one then we went out for dinner at Buca Di Beppo,(a rough translation is Joe's basement)where we had a great meal and probably the best waitress we have had in years.
