The first day here we went to old town downtown to go shopping.There is only one local little grocery store which did not have much on the shelves-We spent about $175.00
Thought things were expensive but really did not pay that much attention.
Today we went to Costco.Wow!
So we only spent about $375.00 on groceries there.
Then it was off to Wally's
We spent another $225.00 here on groceries.
We are just amazed at how high prices are.We thought things were cheap here but apparently not.
You have heard of Yukon Gold potatoes,well the ones here are Mexican Gold.A sandwich bag full is $5.00
Water melon,pineapple and tomatoes are the only things we have seen that appear cheaper than home.Oh ya,BEER,runs about $1.00 can for American or .75 for Mexican.
Peggy managed to find Santa but as you can see he is not impressed with her.
After that draining day of shopping it was time to relax.
Relaxed but broke.
