We were up at 8,and went for breakfast here at the hotel,not so good.

First we asked for cream for the coffee-this is the result

Peggy got shito on the plateo so that was not good
My eggs were cold,the bacon was not crisp,even though I got 8 pieces and the Mexican butter has not improved any.

Oh well!

We can fix this stuff.

It was 81F or 27C so that right there kind of makes up for breakfast.

Last night we did not tell the hotel we had dogs and snuck them in but today everybody would not let us in cause they saw the little bastards."no room for you"

Finally we got a hotel on the beach and the security guard told that we had a dog so they are sleeping in the car.Oh shut up_they will be fine.

We took them for a run on the beach so they will be tired to-night.

We did try out the bar here and it is great.Next it will be dinner,I hope it is ok.

Story: This is just FYI. Last night we were flipping through the tv channels cause everything was in Spanish,and guess what we found? 3 count em,3 xxx full blown everything porno channels.We had to put a mask on Mr Moose even though we did not watch anything.

So we went for dinner and same as last night.We were the only people in the bar and the only people in the dining room.Also both places were out of white wine.WTF?
The meal was pretty good though,better than last night.

Things are getting better

Forgot to tell you we had a non smoking room last night.

Arose this morning at 4:30,showered,packed up and headed for the I Hop.

Then it was off to the border,arriving at 5:50 as they were to open at 6.
6:12 sharp they opened.We finally got all the paperwork done by 8. 80% of it was completed outdoors.We froze our asses off and Mr Moose got frost bite.

There were a lot of Yanks there and nobody was worried about the shit that happens elsewhere.

It was a great trip.We were waved through all the federal and other check stopes with no delays
I just love profiling,it works for us.

We checked into the brand new IDOUX Hotel and Suites,ground them down to about $45 all in and got a great room.They have a restaurant here so we gave it a shot.

This shower is 5' x 6' and has the head coming out of the ceiling.

Yup The dinning room passes inspection.

Almost Mexico

We got away after saying our good-byes about the crack of 10:30

We stored the motor home at Titan Storage in stall 19 at Green Valley AZ.(just in case)

We are in Nogales AZ at the Motel 6,a fine establishment,but it does take dogs

We had breakfast or maybe we should call it lunch cause it was 3pm,a little late. Now it's 7pm and we are not that hungry for dinner.
Maybe we should just drink.

Getting Ready for Mexico

We have purchased our Mexican auto insurance.
We have our Medical Insurance.
We have all our drugs(prescription)
We have some scotch
We have some vodka
We have some wine
We have Dog Food
We have an I pod full of music
We have our computers,even though we may not have any internet
We have our KOBO E Readers
We have Mr Moose
We have Sunglasses
We have Kraft Peanut Butter
We have a couple of pounds of butter
We have the camera


The car is full but somehow we have to find room for some clothes and the dogs

Tomorrow morning we are heading for Tucson AZ where we hope to store the coach,then drive to Nogalas AZ where we have a motel booked then get up early and head south of the border

But first it's our last happy hour with my pal Al,MB,Cookie and Clyde.
Then we had more with some of the Canadians and it's off to the Casino dining room for dinner with Linda and John.

After dinner the 4 of us made a donation to the first nations.It has taken them a long time but they are now getting even with us.

Golf

20 of us went golfing today.

We did not play the best but we had fun.

We golfed with Una and Larry who just arrived today from Yuma.

It seems they used to live in St. Albert and know a lot of people that Peggy knows.I even knew a couple,I think?

After golf and a couple we headed for Pizza and a couple more before poker night.
Poker night was not successful for us but you can't win them all.

Golfing news flash:Peggy hit the ball from between the trees on the hill.

                                                   To this elevated green 155 yards away.

Nov 25th American Thanksgiving

One month till Christmas

Yes I'm going to call it Christmas.It may not be politically correct anymore but I do not give a shit.It's Christmas.

Anyway
After cocktails on the beach we had a Campground Christmas Dinner.

The chef is Dave,our campground manager.Peggy had to tell me it was Dave because I have never seen him without a hat.Now I know why.

A good time and a great meal was had by all.

Peggy enjoyed dinner with all her friends.

Elaine seemed to have many more friends.I wonder why?

The day started off with a cake party at 10am

Everyone remained in their clothes,thank you.

Then it was good bye to Vicky and Rod

You may remember Vicky as "balloon lady" two years ago.

They were the Americans in our group and have gone home to Carlsbad,CA.

Then later........

It must be true what they say about chinese food.
One day later we were hungry again and went back for more with My Pal Al and his wife Mary Beth.

After dinner they came back to our joint and we polished off some wine and stuff.

Birthdays

It was close to Lori and Gail's birthday so we all went for Chinese.

I was amazed.This place has awesome Chinese food and cheap too!

We had reservations for 21 but when we arrived our waiter had not come to work yet but he arrived a couple of minutes later.
We asked why he was late.It seems he called into work and said "I no come work today".His boss asked him why and he replied "Me feel sick,stomach,head legs,no come work today"His boss told him he really needed him as it was very busy and he had a party of 21 arriving and he should come to work and that when he feels sick he just asks his wife to have sex,then he feels much better."ok ok" and he hangs up the phone.
About a half hour later he phones the boss and says "I come work now,be there 10 minutes and you have very nice house"

Local Story

The town near where we are camped is very small.

The patrolman was making his rounds and as he checked the local used car lot he came upon a couple of little old ladies sitting in a used car.
He stopped and asked them why they were sitting in the car and if there intent was to steal it.

"Heavens no,we bought it"

"Then why don't you drive it away"

"We can't drive"

"Why did you buy it then"

"We were told if we bought a used car here we would get screwed so
 WE ARE JUST SITTING HERE WAITING"

NO MORE PENNZOIL FOR ANY OF OUR VEHICLES.

Been watching a little racing.Kyle won on Friday.

Kyle also won on Saturday.


We also had our group dinner last nite where everybody brought something to the clubhouse.
Twas a great dinner.
